The other day we all went on a very long and tiring hike. It took 2 days to complete our hike. The mountain seemed endless and it seemed like it would never end. But it did in the end. It was really windy and cold but it got warmer as we came down the mountain. When we were near the top we were like in the clouds and was really cool but it was scary when we looked out because all you could see was white cloud. You literately couldn’t see people within a meter in front of you. It was really nice to finally reach the camp site and set up our tent and eat our pot noodles. Yummmmmm. We had a lie in the next day and quite a long lie in and that was really nice. We didn’t get up un till 10am.
Gorge scrambling was so fun. We got jump out of a waterfall and jump off one as well. The water was really cold but we got used to it. Jumping on and off the rocks was really fun but you had to be careful you didn’t hurt your self because they were really slippery. The water was like crystal clear and was so tempting to drink it. But apparently there was wee in the water. Ewww. We had to wear these wet suits to keep us dry and warm. They were really tight and gave every one a wedgy. But gorge scrambling was really fun.

The mountain climbing doesn’t sound like fun at all! Too much like hard work for me.
Only 2 nights to go now and the week has flown by so quickly. I’m glad you all seem to be enjoying yourselves. Are you already making plans for Summer Camp 2010? (somewhere a bit dryer & warmer perhaps?)
